On Friday, Shaun and I had plans to meet up with Frank, a work-friend of Shaun's to go see the broadway show "Promises, Promises" in NYC that night. My mom watched Jacob for us and she said they had the best time playing and hanging out together.

Look at me not the blackberrry!

We sat in the very last row - so this is a very blurry Kristin Chenoweth after her performance in Promises, Promises

Then while we were getting ready to board a flight to return home opened up at about 3pm so we thought we'd go to the city, get ourselves to Rockefeller Center to see the tree, and then eat lunch and head back, so that's what we did. It was Shaun, my Mom, Jacob and I who went and we all had a great time. It was pretty cold in the city, so we had Jacob in his stroller with a weather cover on it, and he was so comfy that he fell asleep on us!

On Sunday night, my Dad was able to come home from working in NJ and we had a small Christmas for all of us together. Jacob got a Cars mobile, two recorded books read by my mom and dad and a book and two stuffed animals. We think he had more fun with the boxes and wrapping than with the actual toys though.

We left for home on Tuesday morning. It was a great trip and we will miss the family. Let's hope it's not another 10 months before we see them again. =) Jacob was great on the flights home too. He was able to be in his car seat for both flights and he actually slept through the first flight. He did really well.

He's such a good traveler.
