Thanksgiving in Carson City

We drove halfway to Carson City on Wednesday and stayed the night in Winnemucca, NV. It was crazy how cold it was. The temp hit -20 degrees as we drove! Jacob did really well on that leg of the trip considering how late in the day it was. It was probably 5 hours to get there and he slept for at least 3 of it. He did have a hard time falling back asleep once we got into the hotel and showered and set up for bed though. Poor guy. He does like a routine. It's hard when we have to get out of it.

Then we woke up early Thursday and drove the rest of the way to Carson City, NV to spend Thanksgiving at Shaun's grandparent's house. We stayed at their house until Saturday morning.

Then we drove 7 hours to Las Vegas. Jacob was really good the whole drive. He slept a little the first couple hours and stayed up the rest.

On Sunday, Michelle & Mark hosted a family "Thanksgiving again" at their house. We had yummy Tri-Tip steak and cheesy potatoes. Everything was good and the company was even better. =)
