14 Months Old

Jacob is now 14 months old. He is not walking yet, but still crawling on his knees and taking more risks every day with standing up and letting go of things. He can stand up on his own and move a few steps, but doesn't like to walk.
He weighs 23 lbs. now. He is getting so tall too. When we are out and about people always tend to think he is older because of his height. He has a few quirks that I find so cute. One is whenever someone laughs at him, he laughs back. So, Shaun and him will go back and forth just laughing at each other. It's pretty funny. Another is he will squint his eyes when you point a camera at him to take a picture. See the photo below:

Jacob loves his family, but especially his cousin, Hunter. No matter what Hunter does, Jacob laughs and seems to find him soo entertaining.

Jacob has also found a great friend in our dog, Charlee. Charlee is so smart and has learned to sit 3 feet away from Jacob's high chair at all times. Jacob will now eat his food, but save the last few bites and throw them on the floor and wait to watch Charlee come over and eat them. We always say they have an unspoken agreement where Charlee will let Jacob pet him if he will share his food with him. =)
