17 Months Old

Jacob is growing and changing.  He is starting to really learn fast and catch onto things quickly.  He has learned so much in the last month.  Just yesterday, a big tooth in the back on the bottom popped through the gums and he's finally got some munching teeth!  We are so proud of our little guy.  He is healthy, happy, and we're lucky that he rolls with whatever we put him through.  He is still using a pacifier, but we are working on only using it when he goes to bed.  It is going to be rough on me when we get rid of it, I'm sure.  Sometimes it's just nice to have a plug.  lol
Here are some things Jacob has learned in the last month:

• Points to nose, ears, eyes, mouth and belly button
• Knows cow, horse, sheep, pig, goat and cat
• Can kind of say DOG, CHARLEE, LIGHT, DAD, MOM and THAT (I say kind of because we really have to translate)
• When he's hungry now, he will walk over to our kitchen and bang on the refrigerator, or the pantry door, or the oven.
• Can throw the ball for Charlee to fetch, and throws pretty hard I might add!
• Favorite foods are quesadillas, chicken nuggets, broccoli, bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and cheese and crackers.
• Can smile for the camera if you ask him to
