Jacob after his new haircut
Jacob is now 18 months old! He had his 18-month appointment at the doctor this week and he is developing just fine. He is now 24.5 pounds and 28 inches tall. He isn't talking very much though, so we are going to work on that this month and try to get him to "use his words". I spend so much time with him though that it seems like he can tell me or I just know what he wants/needs so it doesn't seem to be a problem now. We do watch the "Your Baby Can Read" videos and do the flash cards and he knows things and knows what I'm talking about, but just can't voice what he wants to say. He has learned to nod Yes and shake his head No which helps a lot...and it still makes me laugh when he does it because it seems unexpected sometimes.
