Labor Day Camping

We spent Labor Day weekend camping at Current Creek in Utah about two hours east of Lehi. We rented a hybrid trailer on Thursday, packed it up and drove out on Friday morning, and stayed until Monday morning. It was a fun trip and I took some great pictures. Jacob and I were still getting over our colds so we weren't quite in our best moods, but it turned out to be a fun trip any way. I just have to say it was soooo nice to not have to use the public restrooms AT ALL and to have a heater on at night because it got chilly after the sun went down. All together though, we had great weather, great company, and might I say...some great food too! Shaun made his dutch oven chicken and potatoes for a crowd and I made a great dutch oven peach cobbler for everyone for dessert. Everything was sooo yummy. No complaints there!

Jacob was upset so Shaun tried to soothe him with a song....from his harmonica. Funny!

Setting up camp

we never did figure out the awning on this thing - it made no sense (and not having any directions didn't help either)

The trailer was pretty spacious from what we're used to. Two bunk beds on one end and a double tent bed on the other, bathroom, stove, fridge, dinette with table, and sink. It really was a cute trailer.

Jacob did so good hanging out in his play yard while we got food ready

Dutch oven night with all the Peeps

Shaun and James caught dinner - Rainbow Trout, and it was soo pink and yummy!!

Shaun taking a ride in Frank's work of art, his beautiful kayak.

Hanging with friends by the fire. It doesn't get much better than this. What a great trip!
