Jacob is now 11 months old. Another month and a whole year will have past since he was born. Crazy to think how fast kids grow up. He's getting sooo big too. I weighed him the other day and he weighs 18 1/2 pounds. I bet he weighs more than that though because this kid can eat! I can tell a huge difference when I pick him up off the floor. He kills my back to hold him for very long. ha ha

Jacob has ONE TOOTH. He finally started getting teeth. We first noticed the tooth on 9/11 after a really bad night where he was up every hour crying. I'm guessing this was because when the tooth cuts through the gums it's supposed to be quite painful for babies.
Great TOOTH picture - might have to click and enlarge it to see.Like I said, this kid can eat. He eats pretty much anything we give him. There are a few things he doesn't care for, like cereal or oatmeal, but other than that, he is always on the look out for what we are eating and if there's anything he can munch on.
His favorites are avocado, nectarines, banana, applesauce, raisins, and these great little crunchy gerber puff snacks. They have veggie dip, cheddar and tomato flavor and he likes all of them. We have been feeding him anything that we think he can chew off our plates too as long as it's not buttered, seasoned, or sugared and he's really good at trying all of the new food.
Jacob isn't walking yet. He's so close, but not quite there. He's funny because he will crawl over to me, grab my pants and stand up holding on to me, and want me to put my hands down so we can walk around together, and as soon as he gets a hold of my fingers, he just takes off running. It's the funniest thing. I told Shaun the other day, we are in trouble, because he's going to go from crawling straight to running.
Here are some more pictures
Jacob loves to eat snacks at his snack table a.k.a. the coffee table/ottoman we made
Jacob and Shaun grilling dinner on the back patio. It was a bit chilly out that day.
Jacob loves bath timeUtah State Fair - Last Sunday

Jacob loved the swirl yogurt Shaun got at the fair. He had it all over his face.

We saw goats, cows, chickens, and pigs. It was the last day of the fair so most of the animals were gone already

He went from asking Shaun to play, to playing with Shaun, to needing to rest his head for a minute. (LOL)
Jacob learned to use a straw. I caught him right when he first figured it out. Yay!!
Hanging out watching some Baby Einstein
Didn't like Charlee being where he couldn't get to him. Jacob kept pounding on the screen to get Charlee's attention.
Jacob is really good at the grocery store - and I recommend this shopping cart cover to everybody. It's great for germ-a-phobes like me and Jacob thinks it comfy too.
Just like this one - looks like a model pose
