Spending the Holidays in Las Vegas

We spent the holidays in Vegas and stayed with Shaun's Mom. Seemed like there was always something to do and people to see.  It's always nice to visit when school is out so Jacob can spend more time with his cousins.
On Christmas Eve, we went to a service at Canyon Ridge, something we have done for the last few years.  I always try to go when I'm in town, and can get away with Michelle and Cindy to go, but this time, Shaun and the boys came too.  Shaun, of course, ended up taking Jacob outside because he couldn't sit through the service, but  it was okay.
On Christmas morning we opened presents at Susan's. I got my new Nikon camera Christmas morning, so I don't have any pictures of that, but I did start taking some that evening when we headed to Cindy and Jerry's for lasagna and hung out with all the Ramsay's. I had planned to take some great Christmas pictures as a family, but it just didn't quite pan out.  I have a few that I'll post, but they're not my favorite.

We spent the week after Christmas hanging out. We took Jacob to the park by Aliante, went out to lunch a few times, and we went out to see an 80's band on Friday night to celebrate Cindy's birthday.  On New Year's Eve, we went to Sam and Angie's and Jacob had a lot of fun playing with all the kids.  He has such an outgoing personality.  I love to watch him play.  We drove home on New Year's Day and when we got home, the house was so quiet!  We definitely miss the company of being back in Vegas.  It's always bittersweet to leave.

You can always expect him to find a gun when he hangs out at Grayson & Hunter's house

Jacob has a thing for barstools.  If he sees one, he's got to be on it.

Playing with Brentley's Christmas present, just until B's old enough to play with it himself, of course.

He did so good in the whole trip. Even slept in the swing a few times for us.

Shaun was tired of looking at B's curly locks, so this is Brentley's official FIRST HAIRCUT by Mommy
