Wow. Check out that belly! I feel so huge right now. Very large and the baby is in charge right now! I'm hoping to deliver soon! At my 39 week appointment, on Tuesday, the 13th, the doctor said I'm 3 cm dilated. I asked him what we could do to help move things along and both he and his nurse suggested we strip my membranes to see if it helps things progress. I went ahead and had that done and they said for me to come back on Thursday. If I hadn't delivered by then, they would re-check my cervix and try the membrane sweep again.
Seems like the past week we have just been sitting around waiting for the baby to arrive. Here's Shaun and Jacob playing with his choo-choo train.
We took a walk as a family on Saturday and Charlee went swimming in the river. I had braxton hicks a little bit that day after the walk, so it must have helped.
We took a walk north on the walkway to see the horses.
On Sunday, after church, we went to Buca di Beppo for lunch. Jacob was fascinated by the large spoons.
