Healthy, Happy, and Eating A Lot!
I started having contractions steadily around 3:30 am this morning. Shaun and I stayed up and kept track of them until about 8:30 am when they were about 5-6 minutes apart. We then headed to the hospital. Almost as soon as I got there, I was admitted and already at 5 cm. They got me to a Labor & Delivery Room and I had my epidural within minutes. It was wonderful. I barely even felt anything. The only part that was painful was when his head finally came out. Other than that, nothing. It was a great labor and delivery and I'm so lucky that I only had to push about 4 -5 times (3 serious pushes each time). It went so fast and so easy that I might just do this again!! We are so happy and excited to have him. He's so cute! Shaun is a great Daddy already and is a natural with him. Oh, and he's breast feeding already. What a smart little guy. We are so lucky. CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are so happy for you both!! HE IS GORGEOUS! Sounds like your labor was right out of the book! Good job!
