While Daddy's Away...

Shaun flew to Singapore on August 3rd. We had just started Jacob potty training again the week before, so he was having accidents a couple times a day.  I started using an egg timer and I would set it for every 45 minutes or so and he was responding to it very well.  It got to the point where he would hear it go off, then go into the bathroom, pull down his pants, sit on the potty, and then get up and come tell me what he did...also asking if I would help him pull his pants back up. haha

We found many things to do to keep busy while Shaun was gone.  We played outside almost every day, went for walks, starting going to the library once a week to get at least a dozen books each time, and used our membership at Thanksgiving point quite a bit too. We would go to the farm to see the cows and horses mostly, then go to the deli for a little ice cream, or tour the children's gardens. Here are some pictures from our time without Daddy. =(
