Gash in the Head

On July 3rd, we thought we'd spend a family day together and go get some pizza at our favorite place, then hang out at the splash pad. Well, at the splash pad, while having a great time, some kid decided he didn't like Jacob being so close to him on the railing and the kid pushed Jacob. He fell head first down into a rocky stream. Shaun grabbed him quickly and a lady bystander got her first aid kit to help mend him, but we ended up spending the day taking Jacob to the ER for his first stitches. What a bummer. Poor guy was such a trooper though.  He really did very well and didn't freak out too much when they did it. I stayed home with Brentley and Shaun took him in, so thankfully, I missed most of the tears.

So there we were having a great time... and here's what Jacob's head looked like afterwards...

He had two large cuts. He had three stitches in the top cut and two in the bottom. Five total.
