Brentley is 10 Months Old

My baby is not so much a baby. On June 22 as we were packing up for our Florida trip, we noticed that Brentley had learned to crawl with his stomach off the floor.  He was just in our room with us and started doing it around our bed.  It was a cool moment since Shaun had been traveling and he was home in time to witness it.
On June 30th as I said in another post, we noticed Brentley's first tooth emerge.  I was feeding him in the airport in Atlanta when he bit down on me and I felt something sharp in his mouth. His bottom right tooth was just a sliver of white. Talk about ouch.  It wasn't but a week later when the second bottom tooth started to come in and show itself.
Brentley is growing steadily and still waking up at night to eat. He nurses about every 4-6 hours. He eats puffs for snacks during the day and will eat 7-9 oz. of baby food at dinner time.
One night near the end of July, we noticed that Brentley had figured out how to imitate his brother and crawl his way up the stairs.  He made it up about five or six stairs before he decided to sit and thank goodness Shaun was there to catch him.  We have kept the gate up at the bottom of the stairs since. Kind of a scary thing when your toddler likes to climb stairs, but has no idea how to go in reverse down them.
Brentley's normal routine is waking up around 7am and nursing, playing downstairs with Jacob for a few hours, nursing  again, taking a nap around 10 or 11, then snacking and playing with Jacob or outside with me for a while, then nursing, and going down for another nap around the time Jacob does about 2-3pm, nursing again and then eating baby food for dinner (which is usually just a simple sweet potatoes or green beans and peas, etc), then nursing and going to bed again around 7-8pm. He only naps for 1-2 hours at a time and he has been doing very well at sleeping for 6 hours at a time at night. Overall, his schedule is manageable and I'm pretty used to it.  I really like when I can get both boys down at the same time in the afternoon so that I can get some rest too. That afternoon nap is like heaven some days.

We always joke that wherever we go, it seems like there is always a picture of Brentley in the stroller.  Well, here's one for this month. Lol

Love his smiling face.
