Brentley is 4 Months Old

I took Brentley to a doctor's appointment last week.  He was 4 months and 2 weeks old.  He measured big for his age:
His head was 17 in. around which is in the 78th %tile
He weighed 17.22 lbs which puts him in the 71st %tile
He was 27 in. tall which is in the 94th %tile

Brentley is growing at a steady pace, but still seems faster than Jacob did for some reason.  He has been rolling over from back to front for a while, but in the last month, we put him in his playpen in the corner of our room. And when I lay him down for the night, I have been just swaddling up his arms and laying him on his back. Not even ten minutes later, he's broke free and laying on his stomach most nights. He is so strong. I've stopped trying to swaddle him because there's no point. He just gets mad and gets out of it every time.

He has started drooling and spitting raspberries at us. He loves it when we put him on his back and pretend to munch on his hands, arms and neck when he reaches up to touch our face. I love to hear him giggle when we play with him.

I know it's probably not the best, but I've started putting him up in his playpen in our room to take naps because he is so sensitive to noise and it's the only way he will stay asleep for a full two hours. Right now, he is going to bed around 7-8pm at the same time or right before we lay Jacob down, up at 11pm, 4am and 7-8am to eat, then up for at least a couple hours before taking either a full two hour nap or getting a 30-45 min catnap. Then we try to lay him down at the same time as Jacob's two hour nap between 1-2pm and then he's usually up until bedtime unless he gets another 30-45 min catnap.  He doesn't sleep too well during the day, compared to how Jacob did...although Jacob had a quiet house too.

Brentley, just today, showed me that he is already ready to sit up. He's working on those muscles and can sit unassisted for a couple seconds. He loves the baby entertainer too. He will stand up in that for a good hour if I let him just playing with all the hanging things and putting all of them in his mouth. lol
