Happy Father's Day ~ Camping Weekend

This past weekend we went camping to celebrate Father's Day and to make up for not being able to go for Shaun's birthday weekend, which is a tradition now.  We got to the campsite on Friday afternoon and stayed until late Monday morning.  We enjoyed great company, lots of dutch oven cooking, and we rented a trailer so we enjoyed being out of the elements when the sky opened up on us Sunday morning.  Being pregnant, I slept surprisingly well and was pretty comfortable the whole trip.  We were a little disappointed that we weren't able to make it to the hot springs, due to weather and being super busy.  It's so close, that I'm sure we will make time to go another day.  On Father's Day, as I said, it rained most of the day, but it did stop long enough for us to enjoy a fire as a family and take a walk in the campground, which was almost totally empty.  We were glad we decided to stay the extra day and just relax and enjoy each other as a family.  BTW, if you are looking at these pictures and thinking,"Is Jacob wearing pajamas?" The answer is Yes.  I didn't pack him warm clothes for a cold day ...so, he hung out in his jammies.  =)

So funny - Jacob pointed to the guy on the charcoal bag & named him, "Dada!"
