The past almost 9 months have gone by in a blink of an eye. Jacob is so big now. He's a tall and "skinny" baby compared to other babies I've seen. He reminds me of Shaun and I think he will have his build. He is a lot of fun these days (as you can see from the videos I posted). He's laughing, making all kinds of talking noises, and can pretty much get around wherever he wants to go by crawling. He's not crawling up on his knees yet, but you can tell he's right on the edge of figuring it all out. These days we are trying to teach him what "No" means, how to sit up on his own and how to use a sippy cup. He has his 9 month appointment next Tuesday morning at the Pediatrician's office. They are going to measure and weigh him again and he'll get a couple more shots. I feel so bad when they poke him. =( He has got to weigh 20 pounds now. I think the reason I have got my pregnancy weight off and kept it off is carrying him around and up and down stairs all day! Shaun, you can tell, doesn't like traveling and being away from us. He has a hard time saying goodbye even if it's for a few days. We feel so lucky to have him. Jacob has enriched our lives and we love him so much.
