New Bunk Bed for the Boys

I decided that Brentley needed to upgrade from the crib/bassinet setup we had in the corner of Shaun and I's bedroom to his own room, so we hired a contractor to close off the loft in our house to make it a 4th bedroom.  Then, we had to convince Jacob to give up his crib for a real bed.  He never tried to crawl out of his bed, which we thought was pretty incredible.  I decided to order a bunk bed with two twins that can also be taken apart to become two separate beds.  That way, in the future, if we decided the boys could share a room, we could.
Shaun and I talked about the fact that we got a kick out of Brentley sharing a room with us.  I don't think I ever got a picture of it, but Brentley used to peek his head up over the side of the rail of the bassinet and grunt at us in the morning.  Sometimes he made no noise at all, and I would wake up, look up, and there were his little eyes staring over at us.  It was very sweet.
Overall, we were very ready to have Brentley into his own room, and the transition went very well.  Walking down the hallway to soothe a baby a few times is not a big deal when, in turn, you get your room back to yourself.

These boys always look like they are up to no good. :)
