As of March 15, Brentley is 6 months old. He is still waking up 2-3x a night and sleeps from about 6pm to 8am. He is still in the corner of our room in the lifted bed of the pack n play, but we are planning on moving him into the room that used to be the loft in the next few weeks. He is so cute in there. In the morning, I will hear him stir and when I lift my head up to look at him, I can just see little eyes staring back at us. He can lift his head in the upward dog position and look at us now. I wish I had a picture of this, but I don't. (sniff, sniff) Definitely one of those fond memories I will have of him when he is an infant.
He really enjoys bath time and constantly splashes me. He is pretty squirmy so I have to keep a good grip on him and make sure not to put very much water in the tub.
On Feb. 24, he officially started sitting up unassisted.
We tried feeding him food for the first time (I realize I'm like a month or two late on this) and he had carrots. He ate really well and cried when I took the spoon out of his mouth and hands so that I could put more food on it. Next time, I will make sure he has his own spoon.
Hanging out with Jacob in the recliner. I think Jacob loves this because he gets to cuddle with his baby brother.
Shaun has figured out what makes Brentley laugh...
