Love his smile!
Jacob is so much fun! He definitely keeps us entertained. Shaun came home last night from a week and a half long trip to Oregon for work and Jacob's reaction when he walked in the door was hilarious. It was like a mad, frustrated, surprised grunt. We laughed so hard thinking Jacob was scolding Shaun like "where have you been?" So funny.
Running around the house
I just weighed the guy last week and the scale rang in at 24 lbs. He is a chunky monkey. I'm probably going to have to see a chiropractor soon because my back is giving me problems and no doubt it's from carrying him up and down the stairs and around the house during the day.
In the bath tub munching on a rubber ducky
This kid has become very particular about what he will eat now, too. There isn't too many foods to speak of that I know he will definitely eat now. I read about children his age though and it seems like they just don't eat as much because they only eat until they aren't hungry anymore. Which means he eats tiny bits of food, just every two hours. Which seems like a lot of work to me when I have to try to keep each meal healthy so I'm preparing meals every couple hours. Whew. I'm feeling a little worn out and hoping this phase goes by quickly and he gets back to eating everything in site. ha ha
Jacob watching Barney
Jacob keeps me laughing, and not only that, but he is such a cuddle-muffin now. Shaun was surprised when he got home yesterday because Jacob actually crawled up to him and wanted to hug and lay on him. Not typical at all. He's usually going so crazy that we can't get him to hold still. I love that he is becoming more affectionate. I am pretty affectionate with him, so it's nice when he gives it back. =)
Day at the Zoo
Jacob was pooped! Fell asleep on our way back home.
LOL Went to get a carwash and Jacob was freaked out. Poor baby.
